Michael Sheen & Rachel McAdams Split After Two Years
The newest victim is Michael Sheen, who played the vampire leader since New Moon. According to Us Weekly, Michael split up with fellow actress Rachel McAdams after more than two years together.
The couple met while filming the Woody Allen movie Midnight in Paris, and their relationship grew from there. Just a month ago, Rachel told The Sunday Telegraph’s Stella magazine about how much she values communication in a relationship: “You need to trust each other and be able to talk to each and be best friends.”
Did Michael and Rachel stop talking? Did they drift apart? Or is Twilight just wreaking havoc on every actor in the series?
‘Twilight’: A Curse On Relationships?
The most obvious evidence of a Twilight curse is the crumbling relationship between the movie’s leads Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. After Kristen hooked up with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, R-Patz and K-Stew have been on and off, and most recently hardly even talking.
But they aren’t the only ones. Ashley Greene hasn’t had much luck in love since joining the Twilight cast. You’ll remember her nine-month relationship with Joe Jonas, which fizzled out and ended uneventfully. And more recently, Peter Facinelli painfully divorced from Jennie Garth after ELEVEN years of marriage.
And don’t even get us started on Taylor Lautner! In the span of the past five years, Taylor split from Taylor Swift – and obviously had a song written about it — and suffered more heartbreak when his girlfriend Lily Collins feuded with his co-star Kristen Stewart.
