When Jessica Simpson appeared on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ on March 6, she accidentally let it slip that the reports were true and she was expecting a little boy! Watch her hilarious confession.
Reports that Jessica Simpson was expecting a boy, and even that she was naming him Ace, had been circling. She hinted at that again on the March 6 episode of The Ellen Degeneres Show. Then on March 7, the secret was officially out when she let it slep that, yes, she was having a boy!
Jessica Simpson Confirms: I’m Having A Boy
While talking about how nauseas she was with Jimmy Kimmel, she accidently let out more info than she meant to.
“The crazy thing is I never knew a wiener could make me nauseous,” she said on the talk show. Then immediately after, when she realized what she had done, she said “oh shhhh, I guess I just told the world that I’m having a boy!”
Jimmy laughed and congratulated her, in which Jessica responded with “Thank you, I’m sweating now!”
It’s no surprise though — she’s been hinting at the sex all week. On Ellen, she pretty much confirmed the baby’s sex when Ellen DeGeneres presented her with two onsies for her 10-month-old daughter Maxwell Drew; one read “I love my baby brother” and the other, “I love my baby sister.”
When Ellen told her to pick, Jess was hesitant but Ellen insisted that she take the one with brother on it, and Jessica agreed and accepted it. She tried covering it up, saying “if it’s a girl, she might call him bro.”
Jessica Is Happy With Two Kids
On March 7, Jessica also called in to Ryan Seacrest‘s KIIS FM radio show, and he asked the other question we’re wondering — will there be a third baby?
“Really hope that it stops [here],” she laughed and told Ryan. “I think originally I had wanted three [kids] and now that I have one and another one on the way I feel like I could stop here. Accidents do happen [though]!”
Jessica and fiance Eric Johnson announced that their daughter was about to become a big sister in an adorable photo on Christmas Day.
