A violently suggestive ad featuring likeness of the Kardashian sisters and Paris Hilton has made its way onto the internet. Does its tongue-in-cheek humor cross the line?

A young creative team at JWT India really messed up when they posted an unapproved ad for Ford depicting the Kardashians bound and gagged in the trunk of a car, with Paris Hilton in the driver’s seat!

The advertisement, posted to the website Ads of the World, also features the tagline, “Leave your worries behind.” Someone over there in India has got a wild imagination!

The Kardashian poster was uploaded along with another, even more inappropriate ad of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi driving a car with three crying women bound and gagged in the trunk.

The Silvio ad, which has been called “tasteless” and the “worst Ford ad ever,” darkly riffs off of his prior criminal charge of paying for sex and suggests that Silvio can handle his problems and “leave his worries behind” by killing prostitutes.

Offensive Kardashian Ad: Ford Apologizes

Ford and the ad agency are already rushing to fix the situation — the ad has since been removed from the website, and both companies have issued apologies.

WPP Group, which oversees JWT India stated, “We deeply regret the publishing of posters that were distasteful and contrary to the standards of professionalism and decency within WPP Group. These were never intended for paid publication and should never have been created, let alone uploaded to the internet. This was the result of individuals acting without proper oversight and appropriate actions have been taken within the agency where they work to deal with the situation."

Ford added in an email to Business Insider, “We deeply regret this incident and agree with our agency partners that it should have never happened. The posters are contrary to the standards of professionalism and decency within Ford and our agency partners. Together with our partners, we are reviewing approval and oversight processes to help ensure nothing like this ever happens again."

The Paris Hilton-Kardashian ad does feel at least somewhat lighthearted, but the accompanying Silvio Berlusconi ad is much more twisted, and is most likely the majority of what Ford and WPP are apologizing for.

Either way, Ford is learning a hard lesson — once something’s on the internet, it’s there forever.

What do you think of the ad, HollywoodLifers? Over the line or funny?
