Plus, check out the first on-set photos from the new season!
The fourth season of Pretty Little Liars may still be four months away, but thanks to executive producer Oliver Goldstick — as well as the stars’ obsession with Instagramming from the set — we’ve got our first look at something very big happening this summer. Or should I say, ‘something very little?’ We’ll be seeing much younger versions of the liars in flashbacks, and they couldn’t help but snap photos of themselves with their mini-mes.
“My little…. For the day,” Ashley Benson tweeted, along with a picture of herself with actress Shannon. ”I’m dying. Mini Hanna.”
Lucy Hale, meanwhile, enjoyed that her younger-self wasn’t quite as vertically challenged as she is now: ”For once, Aria’s the tallest,” Lucy tweeted, along with a group shot.
“Mini #PLL ‘s on set today!!!” Shay Mitchell added. ”Soooooo cute!!!”
Troian Bellisario tweeted Shay’s photo, issuing a concern, “When you get too old they replace you with a younger model.”
Alison’s Past Comes Back To Haunt… Everyone
So what’s with the extreme flashbacks? EP Oliver tells Entertainment Tonight that season four will have a lot to do with the girls’ earlier days, which will help to figure out whether or not Alison (Sasha Pieterse) is really alive in present-day Rosewood.
“Mrs. DiLaurentis is coming back!” Oliver reveals. “She comes back, alone, and lives in that house. She has a peculiar agenda that the girls cannot figure out. It takes quite a while for the girls to unravel what the hell she’s doing back in Rosewood and what she really wants.”
HollywoodLifers, do you think Alison is really alive? Browse the mind-blowing flashback photos, then drop a comment with your theories for season four.
