Selena Gomez showed off her darker side in a more boho chic, casual ensemble for The Alliance For Children's Rights' 21st Annual Dinner at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Mar. 7 in Beverly Hills, where the star embraced her gothic side in the long dress. Cutouts on the arms and at the sides allowed the 20-year-old to show some skin, (which included her toned tummy)! While usually the star dons high-fashion frocks, we LOVE that she opted for a totally attainable look that we can easily buy.
The star showed off the Lovers & Friends Fairytale Maxi Dress from Urban Outfitters, which is currently on sale for $149.99. She added a long necklace, sticking to the gothic vibe and giving the ensemble an effortless feel. Wearing her long locks sleek and straight, (which is a major trend for Fall 2013), was so consistent with her dark look.
The breezy maxi dress might have been dark, but the billowing, cutout sleeves and cutouts at the waist allowed the star to show some skin and really own the ensemble. If it hadn’t been for those details, it might have looked like there was too much fabric covering up Selena’s svelte frame.
While traveling around the world promoting her upcoming flick, Spring Breakers, Selena has showed off everything from Versace to Gucci, but she can still rock an Urban Outfitters maxi and make it look just as good — and that’s exactly why we love her style!
