The royal couple made an appearance in Glasgow on April 4, and people noticed the certain glow that Kate’s pregnancy has brought to both of them. The prince flirtatiously teased his wife over ping pong while the public watched — so cute!
Kate Middleton and Prince William took time out of their busy schedules to make an important appearance to a Quarriers shelter to meet homeless youth, but they also used the time to bond with each other and show how Kate’s pregnancy has truly brought them together closer than ever before.
Kate Middleton & Prince William Closer Than Ever
“They’re much more touchy-feely than they were,” royal photographer, Mark Stewart, told People magazine.
He wasn’t the only one that noticed the couple’s happiness — an insider also revealed that pregnancy has made the royals happier.
“They’ve always been close, but it is much more pronounced since she has become pregnant. There appears to be new, deeper bond between them,” Judy Wade, royal author, said.
The dad-to-be even teased the Duchess over a competitive ping-pong match.
Prince William Teases Kate While Playing Ping-Pong
“Ahem, I think that was 6-2,” said the prince after winning against his wife in a game of ping pong. He then admitted that in different circumstances he would in fact be the one claiming defeat.
“The only reason I won today was because Catherine was pregnant,” he admitted to Lord Liutenant Sadie Docherty, who later told People about the exchange.
“Otherwise she would have taken off her coat and beat me,” William continued.
Other than traveling the royal couple has been hunting for baby names together,overseeing their renovation at Princess Margaret‘s former 21-room residence at Kensington Palace in London, as well as the renovation at the Queen’s Sadringham estate. They plan to move in this fall.
