Andy LeCompte, a Wella Professionals Celebrity Stylist who worked with Vanessa for her Coachella-inspired spread in Cosmopolitan, gives his tips for perfect festival hair.
To get a look like Vanessa, it actually helps to start with dirty hair.
“Mist roots with a dry shampoo and work Wella Professionals Texture Touch into the ends. Top it off with a floral crown,” Andy tells HollywoodLife.com. Super easy and fast!
Glam Waves — The Step By Step Tutorial
If your hair isn’t naturally wavy, did you know you could actually use a straightener to get glam curls?!
Jo Martin, ghd’s Head of Global Education, shows us how we can get the romantic look with a ghd straightener.
1. “Starting at the front, take a horizontal section. Use your ghd gold professional 1" styler and place in at the roots. Rotate 180 degrees away from the head, elevating the section upwards as you glide the styler through the hair. Then rotate the styler 360 degrees the opposite way, now towards the head, and direct the hair downwards as you glide the styler through the hair. Repeat this technique, rotating 360 degrees, alternating the direction of the styler to the ends.
2. Continue the technique throughout the hair to complete the look.
3. To finish and dress it up, use your fingers to shake out the waves to create your final desired look. Top tip: Accessorize with a colored band or ribbon to give you that cool Boho look.”
