2013 Kentucky Derby: Miranda Lambert & More Attend The Race May 4th 2013, 21:53 Break out your mint juleps and fancy hats everybody — it’s race day! Tons of celebs donned their finest outfits for the 139th running of the Kentucky Derby. Click to see them all! There’s only one day a year where you’re allowed to wear a hat that weighs more than your head — Derby Day. The 139th running of the Kentucky Derby fell on May 4, and like always, celebs came out to partake in the festivities. And their outfits did not disappoint. 2013 Kentucky Derby: Celebs Break Out The Hats Lauren Conrad was a picture of Kentucky constraint, as she wore a beautiful tan dress and a surprisingly dainty matching hat. The Medicine Woman, Jane Seymour, went for a louder look — she was stunning in a bright red dress and a truly gorgeous hat. Singer Miranda Lambert brought country to Churchill Downs in her elegant — almost Victorian — dress. She topped (literally) the outfit off with a great, off-kilter hat. Fashion model Coco Rocha was a sight to see in a blush pink two-piece outfit by Zac Posen. Her hat, by Philip Treacy, took full advantage of flowers to make a complexly stunning piece of art. Krysten Ritter meanwhile looked like a Monet painting in her impressionistic floral dress with a matching, wide-brimmed hat. Don’t think we forgot about the Derby hunks, though! Arrow’s Stephen Amell kept things simple in a well-fitting double-breasted suit matched with a smart tie. Anthony Anderson got into the mood a bit more, wearing a sky blue suit over a pink gingham shirt and donning and old-timey hat perfect for Derby Day. American Pie actor Jason Biggs gussied himself up for the event, showing off in an orange patterned jacket with a tan fedora. We love how much of an event the Kentucky Derby is — it truly transcends sports!
