Robert Pattinson is likely prepping a tuxedo to wear to the Met Ball with Kristen Stewart on May 6. He’s still planning on staying in New York and spending time with Kristen, so why wouldn’t he go as her date to the gala? We can’t wait to see this couple walking arm-in-arm down the red carpet at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art!
Robert Pattinson: Joining Kristen Stewart At The Met Ball?
Though only Kristen is confirmed for the event, we’d be shocked if Rob didn’t end up joining her. He’s been visiting friends in the Big Apple for about a week now, and he’ll still be in town on May 6 when the Met Ball takes place. It’d be totally odd if he was in the same city and still decided not to accompany his girlfriend as she attends the gala.
We love seeing this casual couple fancy themselves up once in awhile, and they haven’t walked a carpet together since reuniting, so our fingers are crossed.
HollywoodLife.com previously reported EXCLUSIVELY that K-Stew was hoping for the best as well. "Kristen loves fashion and loves Rob. She would love for Rob to attend the Met Gala with her in New York in May,” a source close the couple said. “She would love for Rob to be her date at Monday's Met Ball, but she isn't pressuring him," another source added.
Kristen Stewart Excited To Reunite With Robert Pattinson In New York City
Regardless of if Rob attends the event or not, Kristen will just be glad to see him. "Kristen is excited to spend some quality time with Rob in New York,” the second source said.
The insider added that NYC is the perfect place for the couple to have a romantic getaway: "They always have fun in the city together and plan on seeing some bands and spending tome with some good friends.”
