Tonight was all about Team Blake and Team Shakira! So Blake’s country duo The Swon Brothers performed a country classic and Usher didn’t understand, he related it to one thing he does understand — sex.

After the incredible performances on Monday night of The Voice, Blake Shelton and Shakira‘s teams were ready to sing their hearts out on the second night of the live shows on Tuesday, May 7!

Blake’s Country Team Confused Usher

Holly Tucker was the first to perform from Blake’s all-country team, and he started off their practice by telling her she does belong and that she is beautiful, helping to raise her faltering confidence. It must have worked, because she nailed “How Do I Live,” earning a standing ovation from her coach.

If she didn’t have the confidence before, she should now. After performing, Adam Levine told her about ten times how beautiful she was. (Is there any girl who wouldn’t love to hear that from Adam?)

The Swon Brothers, the only pair in the competition, were next and took on country classic, “Fishin’ In The Dark.” Usher and Adam admitted they didn’t know the song, and then Usher added, “I go fishin’ in the dark … sometimes … in other ways, you know.”

Yes, Usher. We know!

Justin Rivers version of “Meet In The Middle” was adorable — and it really showed that Blake is a perfect coach for him. He even cracked a joke that growing up in Alabama prevented him from learning how to really speak English! Usher admitted that it was a “country incredible moment,” and Adam called him “a threat to Blake’s career.”

Danielle Bradbury admitted she’s still starstruck by her coach, and at such a young age, it’s no surprise. However, you wouldn’t know she was only 16  from her voice! The judges loved her super strong version of “Maybe It Was Memphis,” causing Adam to name her “as one of the ones to beat.”

Shakira’s Team Slows It Down With Ballads

Garrett Gardner took on “Imagine,” mixing his signature rasp with a softer tone, also playing piano. He wow’d me for sure, and I wasn’t the only one! Usher kind of confused us, when he said, “I’m happy to see you at a computer,” then changed it to “I’m happy to see you at a piano.” Hmm. However, all four coaches were impressed.

Kris Thomas showed that his super high voice could do a killer performance of Bruno Mars‘ ”When I Was Your Man.” To practice, he and Shakira sang the song together. Kris did show his nervousness, as his voice was a little shaky, but overall, the judges really enjoyed it.

Karina Iglesias sung a strong and sexy version of “Let’s Stay Together.” Shakira was overjoyed by the performance and could barely get out the words saying how proud she was!

Sasha Allen proved to Shakira that she stole her for a reason with her performance of “Oh, Darling.” Of course Blake and Usher couldn’t let it slip that Adam let her slip through his fingers. Shakira was WOW’d by Sasha’s killer voice. And Usher, of course, had to add a comment on how sexy she looked (because she really did), flirting with her saying “I like your outfit.”

Shakira & Blake Perform Lady Antebellum Hit

If you thought Shakria couldn’t rock out to country, you were proven wrong on Tuesday’s episode. She and Blake rocked out to the “Need You Know,” but Lady Antebellum in front of a fire.

I’ve got to say — as a country music lover, I knew I’d love Blake singing this. But I really enjoyed Shakira’s Latin voice singing a country hit! They were a perfect match, and got a standing ovation from Usher and Adam!
