The Prince wouldn’t skip out on his plans with friends if Kate weren’t about to give birth at literally any moment. Are his last-minute decisions to stay close to his pregnant wife a major clue about her impending due date?
Prince William reportedly backed out of preset plans to go out with his pals on June 15 — which is so uncharacteristic of him! Is he sticking by Kate Middleton‘s side until the baby comes? Will’s decision to stay by his wife at this anxious time may signal that her delivery is coming very soon!
Prince William Cancels Boys’ Night Out Plans: Is Baby Almost Here?
Prince William canceled Monday night plans just in case his wife, Kate, went into labor, a source told E! News. He is not known for backing out of his plans with friends, so it was surprising and “unexpected” for him to do so this time around, says E!‘s source. Will has expressed that he wants to be around for the birth of his child — so he must be sensing that the time is right.
Prince William Torn Over Leaving Pregnant Kate Middleton’s Side
Right before Kate’s July 13 due date arrived, Will had to decide whether or not to attend a charity polo event – 100 miles away from where Kate was staying. A source close to the Palace told The Daily Mirror:
Initially his office said yes, then said no, and then confirmed that he would be playing. I think he was torn as, clearly, he wants to be with his wife at such an important time. But he was also too aware how much the event raises for charities he is passionate about.
He eventually decided to go on as planned, but not without making sure that a car and police escort were set up nearby to rush him to St. Mary Hospital in London if Kate went into labor.
Will’s reluctance to leave Kate on her own at this time clearly signals that anxiety about her due date is heightening as time passes!
