Are wedding bells in the near future for the other Middleton? A new report claims that Pippa’s stockbroker boyfriend popped the question months ago!
It’s been a big year for the Middletons. First, Kate Middleton has her first child on July 22, now a new report alleges that Pippa Middleton got engaged to her boyfriend of six months, Nico Jackson!
Pippa Middleton & Nico Jackson Ready To Announce Engagement
Allegedly the engagement has been kept under wraps for some time — Nico, 35, reportedly asked Pippa, 29, to marry him just before the Wimbledon tennis tournament in late June, according to the Sunday People. The couple was photographed at the tournament looking totally in love and happy — now we know why! Ever since Wimbledon they have reportedly been on a secret romantic vacation in the Caribbean!
After taking some private time for themselves, Pippa and Nico are reportedly preparing to officially announce the engagement during her 30th birthday celebrations on Sept. 6. “They didn’t want an announcement before Pippa’s birthday because they didn’t want to take the shine off Kate and her baby,” a source tells the Sunday People. How sweet!
Pippa Middleton: Nico Jackson Is The Love Of Her Life
Though Pippa and Nico have only been dating for about six months, after they met in a London nightclub, the source tells the Sunday People that Pippa is sure she’s found the one — and that seeing Kate tie the knot made her realize she was ready to take the plunge too:
Pippa loved seeing Kate go down the aisle and now it is her turn for a fairytale wedding. She couldn’t be more sure that Nico is the right for her. They are such a good fit for each other and their families get on really well. Everyone is so happy for Pippa.
The couple is reportedly planning on having their wedding in the spring of 2014, and it will likely take place at a local church near the Middleton family home in Bucklebury.
Will Kate Middleton Be Pippa’s Maid Of Honor?
So only one question remains — Pippa was Kate’s maid of honor, will Kate be hers? “It remains to be seen whether Kate will be bridesmaid,” the source says. “Everyone knows how close the sisters are but at this stage the final arrangements are a long way off. Pippa's wedding will be a huge occasion but if Kate is bridesmaid it will be even more high-profile.”
