Jodie Foster has been a major Hollywood actress for more than 40 years, and was honored for her career at the Golden Globes on Jan. 13 with the Lifetime Achievement Award. But it was her thoughtful and thought-provoking acceptance speech that got celebs buzzing on Twitter – and reacting to her funny and touching coming out.
"A big coming out speech tonight," she said during her speech. "I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago in the stone age. Back in the days when a fragile young girl would open up to trusted friends and family and co-workers and then gradually proudly to everyone who knew her, to everyone she actually met. But now apparently every celebrity is expected to expose the details of their private life with a press conference, a fragrance and a reality show."
