Wow! Gabby is taking after the First Lady of the United States. The Olympian gold medalist was spotted with new bangs at the Hall of Game Awards on Feb. 9. She looks phenomenal!

Gabby Douglas received a lot of unnecessary attention about her hair over the summer, when she competed in the Summer Olympics. However, Gabby’s hair is now going to be getting attention in a positive way — she has sexy new bangs!

In August of 2012, Gabby, 17, was criticized for the way her hair looked during competitions. She defended herself and told Us Weekly, "They have no idea what they're talking about. You sweat and all the gel and hairspray comes out. Even if we did fix our hair, our coach would be like, 'This is not a beauty pageant! Leave it alone.’”

It appears as though Gabby gave her hair a lot of thought since then, because her hair makeover is such a transformation! And we have a feeling who gave her the inspiration — Michelle Obama!

Michelle Obama Gets Bangs

On Jan. 17, her 49th birthday, the First Lady revealed an edgy new haircut on Twitter! In a photo alongside Inaugural citizen co-chair David Hall, Michelle flaunted a dramatic new set of thick, face-framing bangs. We were huge fans of the look then, and we’re huge fans of it now!

What do YOU think of Gabby’s new look, HollywoodLifers? Are you a fan? Did she get inspired by Michelle Obama? Tell us how you feel!
