Selena Gomez Hits Up The Studio — Recording About Justin Bieber? Feb 9th 2013, 20:00 The ‘Spring Breakers’ star is wasting no time putting together a new record! But is she taking tips from Taylor and belting about the Biebs? Only time will tell! Selena Gomez called it quits with boyfriend Justin Bieber. (Poor Biebs!) Now, the star is hitting up the recording studio to work on her newest album, and rumor has it that she’s been taking tips from gal pal Taylor Swift! Will she be singing the Bieber blues or belting out a new single lady anthem? We can’t wait for the album to drop! Selena Gomez & the Scene Selena founded the band in 2008. Since their formation, Selena Gomez & the Scene has released three studio albums, seven singles and nine music videos. Currently, they are working on their fourth studio album. So excited! Selena said, “I want to be able to write about things I’ve never talked about before and tell a story with this album, because I’ve never actually had time to go in and do that.” Does this mean we’ll get an inside look at her relationship with Justin? Selena and Taylor Love Singing About Boys Selena and Taylor are certified besties, and we all know if you spend enough time with someone, you start to sound alike!  Selena revealed that Taylor (along with Skrillex) was a huge influence on her new album. This can only mean one thing–lots of delicious, juicy love ballads! Hooray! Selena told MTV news, ”I think the older I’m getting the more I’m just kind of like I’m cool to share my side of the stories as much as I can, so I’m having a lot of fun.” We can’t wait to hear Selena’s confessions! However, we don’t expect any sappy love songs like the ones off of Justin’s latest album, Believe Acoustic, where he features three songs about his lost love Selena.
