Ke$ha‘s crazy beautiful life is definitely something worth celebrating! The star had an amazing year filled with hits and magazine covers. She simply can’t be stopped! Let’s take a look back at what made 25 so special for this modern rockstar, as the star celebrates her 26th birthday on March 1.
Ke$ha Releases Her Second Studio Album, ‘Warrior’
On Nov. 30, 2012, Ke$ha released her second studio album, Warrior! She’s always kept her music fun and poppy, but she tried to revive the rock’n'roll genre with this album. Though it still has her signature style, we definitely are loving the new jams! The lead single off the album, “Die Young,” was an instant hit internationally. It reached the number two spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. and topped charts in multiple countries including the UK, Australia, Brazil, and Canada. This chick can sure get around!
The album’s second single, “C’mon,” is also a bona fide hit! We’re not surprised, it’s a hot track! Ke$ha told Billboard in an interview about her new album, “I got really sick of people saying that I couldn’t sing, because I can do very few things confidently in my life.” No worries, Ke$ha! Whoever says they don’t love the pop star — well, they must be a complete liar. She’s spits out party anthems like it’s her job. Oh wait, it is! And she’s killin’ it!
Ke$ha’s ‘Seventeen’ Magazine Cover
The “Blow” singer cozys up to the cutest kitten ever on the cover of the February 2013 issue of Seventeen magazine. She shows her softer side with a gorgeous flower hair piece and her furry little friend! Definitely a departure from her normally wacky style! She told Seventeen, “People in the music business were like, ‘You’re never going to make it,’ and I see them now and I’m like, ‘Ha!’” Ha is right! Ke$ha is a star!
