It’s been a bit of a wait for new music from X Factor judge Demi Lovato, but she’s finally back in the game with her new single, “Heart Attack”! On March 1, the stunning songstress released the lyrics video for the new song, and you can watch it here!
‘Heart Attack’ — Demi Lovato’s New Song
Demi tweeted “Can’t wait to share the Heart Attack lyric video with you tomorrow” on Feb. 28, and then the following day, she dropped the hot new video!
Demi Lovato: What ‘Heart Attack’ Is All About
Demi, 20, recently spoke with MTV News about her new single, explaining just what it’s about. “And the title is just about falling in love and taking that risk. But, she’s terrified and, by ‘she,’ I mean me. But, I think everyone comes to a point where they feel very vulnerable in falling in love and that’s what I’m talking about,” she explained.
While this video is just the lyric video, an official music video is said to be on its way. Demi’s revealed that it will be “fashion-based” and “performance-based.” Sounds fun!
Demi’s Upcoming Album — What To Expect
During her interview with MTV, she didn’t let slip just when we could expect her album, but she did give some hints about the content. “Well not only does the album say a lot about where I am in life right now [but] like there’s follow-up songs,” Demi said. “I feel like one is a follow-up song to ‘Skyscraper.’ I feel like other ones talk about some issues I haven’t spoken about. I’m continuing to let out a lot of things therapeutically on my music and I’m very thankful I have the opportunity to do that.
“I’ve been working with incredible producers,” she added. “There’s so many I don’t even know who to name, but I do have a collaboration with somebody. I don’t know if I’m allowed to tell but it’ll be dope.”
