The star is elated that his wife, Fergie, is pregnant with the couple’s first child! WATCH to see what Josh had to say about becoming a dad for the first time.
Josh Duhamel and Fergie, 37, are expecting their first child together, and the couple can’t wait to become parents! “It’s incredible,” the 40-year-old actor tells us at TOY restaurant at the launch party of his Moves magazine cover on Feb. 26.
Josh and Fergie have been married since 2009, but the father-to-be said his wife’s pregnancy is an experience unlike any other! In fact, every time he looks at his wife he can’t contain his excitement and is so thrilled that she has a baby on board! “Every time I see her, I see her and then I see this little thing that’s inside,” he says. “It’s one of those things you can’t really describe until you’re going through it.”
So, is Josh secretly hoping to have a son or daughter? According to the actor he doesn’t care either way! “I don’t care if it’s a boy or girl,” he responds. “Like her [Fergie's] mother said, ‘happy, healthy, holy.’”
The couple took to twitter on Feb. 18 to share the exciting news that they were expecting, and while the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman is just starting to show we can’t wait to see her maternity style evolve while her baby bump grows! She recently turned up across the pond, proudly showing the first signs of her growing bump at Paris Fashion Week, where she was out and about taking in the shows while her hubby was busy promoting his latest role in Safe Haven.
Congratulations are certainly in order for the happy couple — and we think they’ll make great parents!
