So sad. NASCAR race car driver Denny Hamlin may not return to the track for quite some time. After visiting a doctor on March 26, Denny received news that his recovery will be an uphill battle. Read on for all the details.
Race car driver Denny Hamlin suffered a L1 Compression Fracture following an accident on the final lap of NASCAR’s Sprint Cup Series Auto Club 400 at Auto Club Speedway on March 24. Two days later, Denny is shared an update on his health on Twitter.
Denny Hamlin’s Health — Recovery Not Going Well
“Heading to see Dr Petty and staff. He’s worked with me before and knows my back as good as anyone. #keepfighting,” Denny said with a hint of optimism before his doctor’s visit on March 26.
Unfortunately, later that day, Denny tweeted, “I wish I got good news today.. I didn’t. If me getting back in a car was based on pain tolerance then I would be in the car next week. There’s just more to it that I can’t control.”
That’s such sad news. We were really hoping Denny would have a speedy recovery and be back on the track in no time.
Denny Hamlin’s Horrifying NASCAR Accident
Denny slammed head-first into a concrete wall, after racer Joey Logano brushed into his car, causing them to both spin out of control. Denny's car went into the raceway wall, he wrecked his car and it collapsed to the ground.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Isn’t this so sad? We only hope Denny receives better news from here on out! Denny is currently resting at home in North Carolina.
