It’s a big step for TLC’s ‘The Little Couple’ — they’re finally parents! After a surrogate miscarried a baby for the couple, they have adopted a three-year-old boy from China who also has dwarfism.
Dr. Jennifer Arnold and her husband Bill Klein have detailed their struggles with dwarfism in a tall world in TLC’s hit docuseries The Little Couple, including their longing to have a baby of their own. But after a surrogate carrying their baby suffered a devastating miscarriage, the couple finally became proud parents after they adopted a toddler from China!
The couple welcomed their son William, 3, from China who also has a form of dwarfism.
“We are thrilled to announce that we have adopted a beautiful young boy from China,” the couple told People. “We are so proud to welcome William to our family and look forward to bringing him home.”
Jennifer & Bill Suffer Devastating Miscarriage
On the most recent season of The Little Couple, Jennifer and Bill were so excited to welcome a baby via a surrogate — but were devastated after she miscarried the baby.
“My entire life, even before I met Bill, I always thought, ‘Oh, I’d love to adopt a child who is another little person,’” Jennifer said in the episode. “And Bill and I talked about it after we got married, and I think we both realized we both would like that.”
And now, their dreams have come true! The couple will chronicle their road to adoption on the newest season of their TLC show The Little Couple, which premieres on April 30.
Congrats to Jennifer and Bill! We are so excited for them to continue their journey as parents.
