The stars of Spring Breakers love Britney Spears — and she loves them right back! Ashley Benson, Selena Gomez and Rachel Korine gave an impromptu performance of “…Baby One More Time” during their movie’s SXSW panel March 11, and it happened to garner the attention of Ms. Spears herself.
“Awww @selenagomez can duet with me anytime,” Britney tweeted March 12 with a link to the YouTube video below. “PS- I heard @springbreakers is AAA-MAZING! Can’t wait to see it!”
Britney and Selena singing a duet? The very idea is enough to make my heart and mind explode into one glorious, sparkly puddle of joy. In fact, that’s one of the many things I loved about Spring Breakers — the amount of Britney incorporated into the plot!
