A source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Chris definitely still loves his ex, Karrueche. But is it the sort of romantic love that could spark up another relationship?
The intrigue only thickens for Hollywood’s most dramatic love triangle. Chris Brown, who is reportedly single at the moment, has not lost feelings for his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. But a source close to the R&B singer explains to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that their relationship differs from the one he has with Rihanna.
Chris Brown: How He Feels About Karrueche Tran
“I don’t know if he’s in love with her but he loves her,” the source clarifies. “Being in love with someone is different than loving them.” The source explains that Chris and Karrueche have an extremely tight bond, and that they care about each other immensely. But for Chris, that love doesn’t exactly translate to a romantic relationship.
“He’s just trying to look out for her as best as he can right now,” says the source. “Chris has a soft spot for her, but that’s about it these days.”
HollywoodLife.com also reported that Chris would most likely be attending Karrueche’s birthday party on May 18. While some will probably interpret his attendance as a sign that they are dating again, or at least heading towards it, it’s important to note this most recent development — Chris doesn’t see himself as a potential boyfriend for KT anymore. Their relationship is an extremely strong friendship — it almost sounds like Chris loves Kae like a brother loves his sister — and nothing more.
Is Chris Brown Still ‘In Love’ With Rihanna?
There isn’t that passion between Chris and Karrueche that exists between him and Rihanna. The former couple may fight constantly, but that’s most likely because they fiercely love each other.
