Did the films that made them famous cause Rob and Kristen to break up? A source close to the former couple EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com that without having another ‘Twilight’ film in the pipeline, Rob and Kristen fell apart.
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson became famous and fell in love while starring in The Twilight Saga, but HollywoodLife.com can confirm that without having another one of the hit vampire films to work together in, their relationship just broke down.
Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart: Why They Split Up
Rob, 27, and Kristen, 23, broke up because Rob allegedly found a text message on her phone from none other than ex-fling Rupert Sanders. However, a source tells HollywoodLife.com that Kristen’s contact with her ex-lover was not the only reason for the split.
“They don’t have a Twilight movie to return to; when they had those movies they fell back into why they fell in love in the first place,” a source reveals. “It just felt right that they were a couple during the filming of those films.”
The source elaborates and compares their romantic problems to The Bachelor!
Imagine being on The Bachelor and not looking for love. When Kristen and Rob were filming the Twilight series, this was where they fell in love. It was like going back to a honeymoon or renewing their vows. They don’t have that now, so add that with the other stuff, and you can see why their relationship has strained.
Perhaps all Rob and Kristen need is a good counseling session with Chris Harrison!
It’s not shocking that Rob and Kristen were having a tough time readjusting to life as a couple outside of Twilight, and perhaps breaking up is the right thing for now.
Let’s just hope absence makes the heart grow fonder, and Rob and Kristen realize they can make it work!
