An eyewitness at the hospital where baby Kimye was born tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that the brand new daddy looked extremely emotional and happy after the birth of his daughter. But while the Kardashians celebrate, other new dads are getting grilled by security and they aren’t too happy about it!
It’s been a whirlwind day for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. At about 1:30 a.m. on the morning of June 15, the couple headed to Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles as Kim went into labor. Soon after, Kimye’s baby girl was born! As Kim’s BFF Brittny Gastineau and more guests arrived to visit and congratulate Kim on the birth, an eyewitness tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that the joy of having a daughter was spread all over Kanye’s face.
Kanye West Emotional After Baby’s Birth
On the afternoon of June 15, just hours after Kim gave birth, the 36-year-old rapper and new dad welcomed visitors at the hospital.
“He was on the north side tower hugging two women,” says the insider, who says the women appeared to be relatives of Kim. “It was a warm embrace.” The eyewitness says that Kanye looked extremely emotional and happy, in a state of exasperated ecstasy.
Moments after Kanye welcomed the women, four carts of flowers from Empty Vase florist arrived carrying white Casablanca lilies — likely a gift from the women.
The eyewitness adds that Kim’s BFF Brittny Gastineau arrived at the hospital shortly after.
Kim Kardashian Gives Birth: Hospital In Lockdown
Besides being a hub of extreme happiness, the Cedars-Sinai is also in full lockdown mode. Another new father told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that hospital security has been amped up considerably since the early morning. Even though his girlfriend also gave birth at Cedars-Sinai, he has been thoroughly questioned before being allowed access to his room.
We all remember when Beyonce gave birth to Blue Ivy – she and Jay-Z practically locked down an entire NYC hospital floor! So while the Kimye baby may be causing some inconvenience, a little increased security is tame in comparison.
