Though most of Kanye’s new album, ‘Yeezus,’ doesn’t touch on his baby momma-to-be, the rapper saves the best for last with an adorable, romantic closing track called ‘Bound 2.’
When Kanye West’s new album, Yeezus, leaked onto the internet early on June 14, we immediately turned our speakers up to hear what the outspoken rapper had to say — especially about his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian. We were not disappointed, as Kanye raps sweeter than ever on the album’s closing song, “Bound 2.”

Most of Yeezus is the standard egotistical, braggadocios stuff (seriously, there’s a song on it called “I Am A God”) we’re used to hearing from Kanye, but he definitely throws a change-up with the album closer.
Over a smooth, old school beat, Yeezy finally addresses his relationship with Kim K, and the results are sweeter than a wedding cake.
“Close your eyes and let the words paint a thousand pictures / One good girl is worth a thousand bitches,” Kanye raps. Though it’s not quite the professions of love we’re used to, that’s about as romantic as hip-hop gets!

And it doesn’t stop there. The second verse of “Bound 2″ is a trip down Kim K memory lane for Yeezy:
Hey, you remember where we first met?
Okay, I don’t remember where we first met
But hey, admitting is the first step
We love that little bit of humor Kanye is injecting into the romance, and we’re sure Kanye and Kim often laugh about their long history together and the somewhat randomness of their relationship.
Before the song ends, Kanye also expresses ultimate hope for his and Kim’s future: “Maybe we could make it to the church steps,” Kanye says, implying that he’s definitely thinking about marriage.
Sometimes it’s easy to get bogged down by Kanye’s maniacal persona and his many controversies and forget that he’s just a guy with a baby on the way who is deeply in love with his girlfriend! What do you think about these lyrics, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!
