Kim’s romantic message, that she tweeted out along with an adorable photo collage of herself and Kanye on June 8, was perfect — the laid back thing Kanye was hoping for, a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
Kim Kardashian’s Present Went ‘A Long Way’ With Kanye West
“He thought the world of it,” the source says. “Something low key and sentimental is all the guy wanted from Kim.”
Kim clearly knows her man — on his birthday she tweeted, “Happy Birthday to my best friend, the love of my life, my soul!!!! I love you beyond words!” Attached to the tweet was a photo collage of all of Kim’s favorite moments with her baby-daddy-to-be.
“That little thing she did, that meant everything to him,” says the source. “It’s the little things Kim does that go a long way with him.”

With Kim’s romantic message likely fresh in his mind, Kanye stepped out in New York City to celebrate his birthday on June 8. He was on the East Coast because of his commitment to headline the music festival Governor’s Ball on June 9.
Kim, who is no longer flying as her due date approaches, couldn’t make the birthday dinner at Miss Lily’s, but Kanye spent the night with his besties Jay-Z and Beyonce, and some of Kim’s friends Jonathan Cheban and Scott Disick were also in attendance.
It was a laid back party, just like Kim’s gift. And that’s all Kanye wanted.
