As her sister Kim Kardashian nears her due date, Khloe is dialing back on trying to start a family of her own.
Khloe Kardashian’s often stressful and unsuccessful efforts to get pregnant and start a family with husband Lamar Odom have been well-documented. Now, after a difficult year for the reality TV couple, a source reveals to HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Khloe is putting her baby plans on the back-burner.
Khloe Kardashian’s Baby Plans On Hold After Tough Year
“Khloe has put her baby plans on hold for the time being,” the source says, “but that’s still on her mind — a lot.”
Though the youngest Kardashian sister has admitted that it’s been tough to watch Kim and Kourtney have children while she’s failed to get pregnant, the source explains that she and Lamar decided to stop trying for awhile, mostly because they need to recover from a rough year.
“She got fired from her hosting show, [she's had] complications getting pregnant, Lamar’s basketball game was sloppy,” the source says. Right now the last thing they need to do is another thing to their plate. Instead they’ll just take some time to themselves and recharge.
Khloe Kardashian: Supporting Kim Kardashian’s Pregnancy
Though Khloe is retreating on her baby plans, she is still devoted to being a supportive sister for Kim, who will welcome her first child with Kanye West in July.
“She will be there to support Kim through it all,” the same source tells us. She’ll be at the hospital, the source says, but she won’t be getting too close. “I don’t think she would want to be in the room when her sister is giving birth.” You can’t blame her for that!
