One Direction’s first fragrance, Our Moment, was revealed on June 6 and the guys threw a massive launch party in London to celebrate. Watch a cool behind the scenes video below!
One Direction first fragrance is bound to be a smashing success. The guys hosted a party to celebrate their labor of love on top of London’s Gherkin building on June 6. “It's quite a sweet smell without it being too strong, it's quite subtle. This is like a complicated piece of art. A lot of love went into this,” band member Liam Payne said as he held up the bottle. See what the other guys had to say below.
One Direction’s Fragrance — Our Moment Launch Party
“We hope that the fans get excited about the fragrance,” Harry Styles said at the party. Louis Tomlinson grinned while admitting, “We've had a load of fun making it!”
“It’s just cool to get it out there for the fans. I hope they enjoy it and have fun with it!" Zayn Malik added.
Liam admitted that it was a fan’s idea that started the 1D fragrance revolution!
“There was a fan on Twitter to who had a petition to have us make a frgrance and then we just kind of got the idea from there but then we just got really into it,” Liam said.
Niall Horan agreed: “Fans always want to know what we like and what we don't like so we wanted to show them what we like smell-wise on girls.”
Our Moment — The Bottle Design & The Smell
The bottle is pink and silver. There is a pink “flower” on top of the bottle underneath an ornate “crown” cap.
It has top notes of pink grapefruit, wild berries and redcurrants, middle notes of jasmine and freesia and dry notes of musk and white patchouli.
