Just when it started to look like the ‘Teen Mom 2′ star was possibly trying to get back on track, she is back in jail after failing a court-ordered drug test at a hearing for her drug possession charges. What happened, Jenelle?!
Jenelle Evans, 21, was appeared at the Brunswick County Courthouse in North Carolina on August 12 to face charges from her April 23 arrest. When the court-ordered a spontaneous drug test, Jenelle failed it — and was put right back into jail!
Jenelle Evans In Jail Again — ‘Teen Mom 2′ Star Fails Drug Test
"Jenelle pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and all the other charges were dismissed," her attorney, Dustin Sullivan, told RadarOnline.com.
Radar reports that Jenelle tested positive for marijuana after her court-ordered spontaneous drug test. "The judge gave her 48 hours in jail for testing positive," Sullivan confirmed to the site. She is set to be released on the morning of August 14.
Jenelle Evans Arrested For Drug Possession
Jenelle was in the court on August 12 to face charges from her April 23 arrest. She was arrested on counts of possession of heroin and assault. For those charges, she was given 18 months unsupervised probation. If not for the drug test, Jenelle’s court appearance would have went reasonably well, but now she is in extra trouble for not coming up clean. This whole ordeal likely won’t look good for her when she goes to court with her ex Courtland Rogers over custody arrangements for their 4-year-old son Jace.
