The new mom made her first post-baby appearance on Jan. 13 at the Golden Globes, and told Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet that she was very pregnant while writing the theme song to ‘Skyfall’ — which earned her the award for Best Original Song!
Adele walked the 70th-annual Golden Globes red carpet on Jan. 13, her first public appearance since welcoming her baby boy on Oct. 19 with boyfriend Simon Konecki, and revealed to Ryan Seacrest the details behind recording the James Bond flick Skyfall‘s theme song — while she was pregnant!
“I was very pregnant and very emotional, but it was very very exciting,” she said about the hit song, which earned her the win for Best Original Song.
“I felt a bit like Frank Sinatra,” she added about singing the song.

Adele took home the Golden Globe for Best Original Song, and it was the first Golden Globe Award for which she was ever nominated — and she revealed she didn’t even think she would win!
She joked that she and few of the other new moms in attendance just wanted to go out for a night after having her baby boy!
“We’ve come for a night out, I was not expecting this,” Adele said during her speech. “It’s very strange to be here. We’ve been pissing ourselves laughing,” she joked.
Then she thanked her precious family for their love and support!
“This is for my boyfriend Simon who convinced me to do it, and my lovely son,” she said. How sweet!
