It looks like Rob didn’t fly solo to the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards after all!
Robsten fans wept Jan. 13 as Robert Pattinson made the sad, lonely walk down the red carpet at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards — the trail of tears, they called it — but there was a surprise waiting for us all two hours into the show: Kristen Stewart appeared front-and-center, for all the stars to see!
OK, enough with the insanity; Kristen was actually shown very briefly as part of a montage before Jodie Foster accepted the Cecile B. DeMille Award. (You know, that little speech where she came out as a lesbian and moved everyone in the world to tears? That one.)
Kristen, 22, and Jodie, 50, acted together in 2002′s Panic Room, and they’ve actually remained very close ever since.
Jodie Foster Supported Kristen Stewart After Her Affair
During the very messy backlash of Kristen’s affair with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, Jodie lept to her former co-star’s defense.
“We've all seen the headlines at the check-out counter: ‘Kristen Stewart Caught,’” she wrote in an Aug. 2012 op-ed for The Daily Beast. “We've all thumbed the glossy pages here and there. … There's no guilt in acknowledging the human interest in public linens. It's as old as the hills. … [But] we seldom consider the childhoods we unknowingly destroy in the process.”
Additionally, a source told RadarOnline.com that Jodie was “an incredible friend to Kristen through [that] whole situation.”
HollywoodLifers, did you get excited when you saw Kristen on screen at the Golden Globes, too? Or are we freakin’ crazy? Drop us a comment!
