A scathing new commercial by the National Rifle Association of America accuses President Obama of being a hypocrite because his daughters are protected by armed security, but kids in schools today aren’t. Watch the harsh ad.

In response to Barack Obama‘s proposals for stricter gun laws following the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the NRA released a shocking new ad that calls the president an “elitist hypocrite.”

The ad, which was released on Jan. 16, claims that since President Obama has armed security guards for his daughters, kids in public schools should too. And since schools are currently gun-free zones without armed guards, it is hypocritical of the president.

“Are the president’s kids more important than yours?” the narrator asks.

“Then why is he skeptical about putting armed security in our schools when his kids are protected by armed guards at their schools? Mr. Obama demands the wealthy pay their fair share of taxes, but he’s just another elitist hypocrite when it comes to a fair share of security.”
