Don’t believe the hype. A source close to Chris tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that there’s no beef between Chris and Frank, following their alleged brawl with each other on Jan. 27.
Frank Ocean has decided not to press charges against Chris Brown, pertaining to a fight they were allegedly involved in with each other on Jan. 27. We’re told that Breezy appreciates and respects Frank’s decision.
A source close to Chris tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Chris was never worried about anything going down or having to go to jail over what was a misunderstanding. He was never worried and there’s always two sides to every story. Just because Frank stayed there and talked to police doesn’t mean anything. It’s all good.”
So how does Chris feel about Frank not pursuing legal action?
“It is what it is. It was a misunderstanding and Chris respects Frank and all. This was some petty s**t that was blown out of whack in the media. Everything that you think you heard didn’t even happen and Chris and Frank know that. That’s why Frank just let it go,” our source says.
Even though Chris has been spotted with a cast around his hand, the “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer has been very cooperative with police, who claim there was no evidence of any form of assault.
“It’s all gravity. Chris has no beef with anybody. Frank is cool. Everybody’s cool and in the end, it’s all about respect anyway,” our source adds.
Frank’s Music Producer Says Chris ‘Beat The S**t Out Of Frank’
Despite the claim by police saying that there were no acts of assault, Michael Uzowuru, Frank’s music producer, said otherwise on his personal blog.
He said, “The whole thing did indeed start over a parking spot. Frank and I arrived at Westlake Studios that night to record, when we saw an orange Lambo parked in the spot labeled ‘Frank.’ We were told by the front desk to move the car because it belonged to Chris. Chris came out 10 minutes later with a big dude and a skinnier dude — and when Frank told Chris, ‘You parked in my spot, move’ … that’s when it all went downhill. Then instantly Chris and the other dude grab [Frank] and try to jump him.” He adds, ”There’s no doubt in my mind the whole thing was a set up.”
According to Michael, Chris tackled Frank and sent him crashing into a “big fake candle display laced with glass,” adding, “Hence … his finger being cut.”
His blog states that Chris’ friend cornered Frank and pinned him up against a wall “while Chris was trying to beat the living ‘s**t’ out of [him].” Michael says Frank fought back, throwing elbows and punches of his own. Eventually, everyone there was screaming for everyone to stop — and they did.
Michael finished his post by saying, “I don’t know what type of demons Chris is facing, but I hope he clears them all and finds a new life rooted in love and light.”
What Do You Think?
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Chris be thankful to Frank? Or is Frank and his team being a bunch of drama queens?
