Justin Bieber‘s rapped before, though he’s usually kept his lyrical content on the sweeter side, rapping about then-girlfriend Selena Gomez. Though he and Sel are possibly reuniting, the Biebs really letting loose while they were apart. As he raps on Maejor Ali‘s new track “Lolly”, Justin makes one thing clear: This isn’t the same ol’ Bieber.

The Biebs’ Previous Rap Moments
The song is a far cry from Justin’s prior attempts at rapping. Back in November of 2011, the heartthrob visited Power 106 FM’s morning show, where he freestyled about Selena over the instrumental to Kanye West‘s “Otis”.
“My girl says I'm perfect/she just loves an imperfect person perfectly personally/I think she is perfectly perfect/Get it done abundantly/She wants to get up onto me,” he said.
