The Closer alum Corey Reynolds has landed a plum role in Fox’s Delirium pilot.

Penned by executive producer Karyn Usher (Prison Break), Delirium is based on Lauren Oliver’s bestselling young adult novels about an alternate present where love is deemed illegal and is able to be eradicated with a surgical procedure dubbed The Cure.
The rub: Young Lena Holoway — to be played by Emma Roberts (Scream 4) — does the unthinkable and falls in love with 95 days to go until her treatment.
Reynolds will play Lawrence Tack, the strategic, no-B.S. leader of the budding Resistance movement opposing the Cure.
Billy Campbell (The Killing) previously was cast as Thomas Fineman, a wealthy lobbyist who supports the use of the procedure and is subject to unbridled rage during times of trouble.
Fox’s other drama pilots include Boomerang (starring Felicity Huffman), Rake (based on an Aussie series of the same name and starring Greg Kinnear) and the tentatively titled Inhuman, a futuristic cop project from J.J. Abrams/Joel Wyman.
