You may be shocked to find out that certain celebrities were once friends. Before Kim Kardashian’s sex tape was released in 2007, she was only known as Paris Hilton’s sidekick. Now, Paris is not even a blip on the radar anymore, and Kim is, well… I’m sure you’re familiar with the Kardashian empire. Of course, this shift in popularity drove a rift between the two video stars. Other celebs who are frienemies include Rihanna and Katy Perry, Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez, and many more!
Katy suspiciously stayed far away from Rihanna at the Feb. 10 awards ceremony. A source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Katy made a special request to be seated far from RiRi because she's not happy the 'Diamonds' singer is dating Chris Brown again!
Demi Lovato Vs. Selena Gomez
In July 2012, Demi said, “Selena and I aren't as close as we used to be, but she'll always have a place in my heart.” Interesting!
Nicole Richie Vs. Paris Hilton
In April 2005, reports surfaced that Nicole and Paris were no longer speaking. Paris said, “It’s no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends. Nicole knows what she did, and that’s all I’m ever going to say about it.”
Nicole and Paris refused to talk publicly about the cause of their split, though it was speculated that the duo fell out due to Nicole showing one of Paris’ homemade sex tapes to a group of their friends. They eventually reconciled in October 2006. However, they never became as close as they once were.
