On TV this weekend: Beyoncé shows us what makes her irreplaceable, a Revenge plot claims its casualties, Downton Abbey gives the help the next several months off and Californication reunites Hurley and Shannon. SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 16

8 pm Pastor Brown (Lifetime) | TV-movie: A woman (Eureka‘s Salli Richardson-Whitfield) returns home to honor her dying dad’s final command to take over as pastor of the family church – despite her sordid past and the son she abandoned years ago. Tisha Campbell-Martin, Nicole Ari Parker and Michael B. Jordan co-star.

9 pm Beyoncé: Life Is But a Dream (HBO) | The Grammy winner serves up this self-produced, Truth or Dare-style documentary offering a peek into her personal life – including her return to the spotlight after daughter Blue Ivy’s birth in 2012.

11 pm-6 am Curb Your Enthusiasm marathon (TV Land) | Seven hours of Larry David’s neurotic comedy? Pretty, pretty, pretty good.

11:30 pm Saturday Night Live (NBC) | Django Unchained‘s Christoph Waltz hosts with musical guest Alabama Shakes.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 17

PREVIEW | Once Upon a Time Will Leave Viewers ‘In a Tumultuous Situation

8 pm Killing Lincoln (Nat Geo) | The story of John Wilkes Booth’s fateful action, based on Bill O’Reilly’s bestseller, narrated by Tom Hanks and starring Billy Campbell (The Killing) as Lincoln.

8 pm The Amazing Race (CBS) | Season 22 premiere: In a series first, three teams quit during the first Roadblock of the season. (Peruse the cast list and place your bets on who’ll fold first.)

8 pm The Simpsons (Fox) | A shaving experiment leaves Milhouse looking just like his father. (Stick around for a broadcast of the Oscar-nominated short Maggie Simpson in: The Longest Daycare.)

PREVIEW | Bob’s Burgers Cues Up a Musical!

9 pm Downton Abbey (PBS) | Two-hour season finale: The Crawleys head to a Scottish hunting lodge, while the downstairs staff stays behind at the estate. New romances flare up, and a crisis unfolds. (Keep a stiff upper lip – the series is already renewed.)

9 pm The Good Wife (CBS) | Office politics get fired up when Will and Diane ask Alicia and Cary to face off against them in a mock trial; Eli tries to keep his post in Peter’s campaign. Kyle MacLachlan (Desperate Housewives) and Raphael Sbarge (Once Upon a Time) guest-star. (Get a lil’ scoop!)

9 pm Revenge (ABC) | The Graysons hold their annual Labor Day bash, while Jack and Amanda run into serious trouble on the high seas.

9 pm The Walking Dead (AMC) | As the group debates its next course of action, Rick wanders after a lost friend. (Given his state of mind lately, why do I suspect that this “friend” might not really be there? Oh Rick, please don’t get munched on while you’re stumbling around with the walkers…)

9 pm Family Guy (Fox) | Obsessed with Anne Murray (who guest-voices herself), Brian and Stewie visit the Canadian singer to find out the true meaning of her hit “Snowbird.”

9:30 pm Enlightened (HBO) | Amy’s dreams of a perfect life with Jeff end when Levi unexpectedly returns from rehab in Hawaii.

10 pm House of Lies (Showtime) | Marty gets a visit from his militant brother (Rescue Me‘s Larenz Tate).
