Cory’s mentor will be back to offer him more sage advice when the ‘Boy Meets World’ spin-off premieres on Disney Channel.
The world temporarily stopped spinning on its axis when William Daniels, aka Mr. Feeny, was photographed visiting the set of Girl Meets World this week — so I’m pretty sure this news will throw us completely out of orbit. HollywoodLife.com‘s sister site has confirmed that it wasn’t merely a visit; Mr. Feeny will appear on Disney Channel’s Boy Meets World spin-off!
The details of Feeny’s return are still unclear right now, but given his history with Cory (Ben Savage), I could see this going one of two ways: Either he becomes the principal of the school where Cory is working — Cory is going to be a history teacher, just like Feeny — or he’s retired and moves in next door. Or both!
Regardless of how Feeny is reintegrated into the BMW world, I’m sure he’ll also be giving plenty of advice to Cory and Topanga’s (Danielle Fishel) daughter Riley (Rowand Blanchard), the “girl” of the show.
And as long as someone does the Feeny Call, I’ll be satisfied.
The site also confirms, however, that Will Friedle and Rider Strong (Eric and Shawn) were simply visiting with no current plans to appear on camera.
