Huge stars like Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale, Victoria Justice and more all rocked the carpet on the March 23 Kids’ Choice Awards, but Kristen Stewart shocked us with her beautiful braided hair! Were you happy she rocked an updo tonight, HollywoodLifers?
Last year she wore an easy, breezy ponytail but this year she stepped it up a notch with a beautiful braid!
Of course, her braid wasn’t perfect — in typical Kristen fashion, it was messy and un-done, but looked fab!
Her french braid was her best accessory because unfortunately, Robert Pattinson was not by her side!
Her pretty green eyes were accentuated by purple eyeliner.
Kristen Stewart’s Academy Awards Hair — Too Casual?
It was a dramatic change from the loose, messy waves we saw her wearing at the 2013 Academy Awards.
Her hair wasn’t that well-received at the super fancy awards show.
Claudio Lazo, owner of C The Salon in Studio City, California, told HollywoodLife.com it was too casual:
“I wanted to see more glamour from her for an event like the Oscars. It's cool to show your rebelliousness in your everyday dress, but for stellar events like these, I was hoping she would spruce it up a bit more in terms of her hair,” Claudio told us.
“It was too 'every day' hair. Classic events are classic events and should be respected as such. You do not want to stray too far from the norm because movie fans all over the world are looking at this event to see the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.”
Maybe that’s why she stepped it up for the KCAs!
