The star looked so lovely in shorts and a strapless peplum top when she stepped out on the purple and orange carpet!
Selena Gomez stepped out for the 2013 Kids Choice Awards in LA on Mar. 23, where the 20-year-old actress opted for a seriously leggy look — and we loved it! In a strapless, baby blue peplum top and white shorts by Oscar de la Renta, Selena put her svelte frame on full display — and it actually wasn’t the first time she sported this ensemble!
In the April 2013 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Selena is perfectly poised while lounging by a pool — and she’s wearing this exact Oscar de la Renta ensemble in a different color! She looked so high-fashion in the white peplum top and pale pink shorts for the shoot, so it comes as no surprise that she would wear it on the red carpet! Selena must really love the look if she opted to wear it for the award show.
Silver Gucci sandals and a Diane von Furstenberg clutch added to her effortless red carpet look and really tied her ensemble together, while she sported hoop earrings. Selena wore her signature long locks down in soft waves with a portion of her hair pulled back, sticking with the feminine vibe. A glossy pout and kohl-rimmed eyes completed her red-carpet-ready beauty routine.
Since the award show is so young and fun, I think shorts were an amazing choice — and Selena wasn’t the only one that got the memo! Kristen Stewart also rocked a leggy look on the red carpet, stepping out in a checkered shorts ensemble and a pair of black pumps. Shorts are a fantastic choice for the spring award show, and these gals prove that the summer staple can also be dressed up for a glam night out.
