If there’s trouble in paradise, Miley’s ring finger hasn’t gotten the memo! The star stepped out on Mar. 1 still flaunting her engagement rock. Is this a sign that the Liam Hemsworth cheating rumors are false?
Either Miley Cyrus is weirdly obsessed with her huge Neil Lane engagement ring, or she actually isn’t having issues with fiance Liam Hemsworth.
Miley Cyrus Rocks Her Ring
Photographers snapped away on Mar. 1 as Miley headed to the studio to continue work on her fourth studio album, and we couldn’t help but notice her choice of jewelry. The 20-year-old’s enormous 3.5-carat ring stood out and acted as a prop to dispel all the rumors.
After all, why would she continue slipping on that massive beauty if the claims were true?
Liam Hemsworth’s Cheating Rumors
Rumblings began to flare up over Oscars weekend when paparazzi caught Liam leaving the Chateau Marmont with the older actress, January Jones. But not only did they leave the hotel together — they both got into the same car! ”It looked like [Liam and January] had some hot chemistry,” a witness inside the pre-Oscars party told Star magazine.
To make matters worse, Miley then attended Elton John’s Oscars party not with Liam, but with her mother Tish. That was all it took for people to assume that something was up between Miley and Liam.
In the past few days though, the validity of the cheating rumors have died down. “They are totally together,” an insider told E! News. The same source also explained that Miley’s Oscars date was Tish because she had never been to Elton’s party and badly wanted to go.
So what we do know is that Miley’s a good daughter and that so long as she continues rocking that Neil Lane ring, we can be assured that the engagement is on. Though we’re still not sure how January Jones factors into all of this!
