Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson: Sweet On Set
In an interview with The Oakland Press, Erik said that he believes the casting for Twilight was perfect. “The filmmakers really got it right with Kristen and Rob,” he says, adding, “There’s been such an overlap of how iconic the characters are, but also how iconic Kristen and Rob are.”
Who knew Erik was such a hopeless romantic! “When [they got] together, it became bigger than anyone could have imagined,” he also says. Erik should know — he’s spent a lot of time with the couple: “It was sweet to watch them together on set,” the actor says.
Rob & K-Stew: What You Didn’t Know
In the same interview, Erik describes how there’s so much more than meets the eye to Kristen and Rob, that their pretty faces and whirlwind romance are just what you see on the surface.
“I was surprised at how down to earth they were,” Erik states. “Kristen’s just so intelligent.”
“I wouldn’t be surprised to see, as she gets older, her transitioning into her own films because she has such a strong voice on set.”
We love to hear this kind of stuff — first of all, who knew quiet little Kristen Stewart could be a leader on a movie set? And it’s great to know that R-Patz and K-Stew don’t have huge egos and that they’re loved by everyone!
It just makes us love them even more! Now, if they could just find a way back into each other’s arms…
