Watch the first official ‘Catching Fire’ teaser trailer, then give us your insta-review!
Catching Fire is going to be one of the biggest movies of 2013, so what better place to debut the first official teaser trailer than the 2013 MTV Movie Awards? This year’s annual show delivered our first look at the upcoming Hunger Games sequel, in theaters Nov. 22, and we’re more excited than ever to see Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) back in action!
Though J-Law wasn’t actually there to help reveal the footage herself, Liam Hemsworth was more than capable to of presenting the teaser trailer solo. (Though he wasn’t really solo. That intense beard counted as its own person.)
‘Catching Fire’ Teaser: What We Saw
The teaser showed President Snow (Donald Sutherland) and his associates vowing to “eliminate” Katniss. She pleaded with Haymitch (Woody Harrelson) to help her though the ordeal, but he didn’t exactly have an answer for her.
We also got to see a sweet moment between Katniss and Prim, and a full-on romantic kiss between Katniss and Gale. (We had to look away when poor Josh Hutcherson got whipped!)
