How touching. One year after the tragic death of Trayvon Martin, Jamie Foxx honored his memory at the MTV Movie Awards on April 14 by wearing a T shirt with his face and the word ‘Justice’ on it.
Trayvon Martin was tragically killed one year ago in Florida by George Zimmerman, and while he may be gone, he is certainly not forgotten. At the April 14 MTV Movie Awards, actor and singer Jamie Foxx walked the red carpet wearing a leather jacket and a T shirt with Trayvon’s face on it, and the words “Know Justice. Know Peace.” How cool of Jamie!
Jamie Foxx Wears A Trayvon Martin T Shirt
Jamie walked the red carpet in Los Angeles with actress Kerry Washington, and he wore the T shirt under a leather jacket. The shirt showed a close up of Trayvon’s face with the words “Know Justice. Know Peace.”
Jamie is so cool to wear that shirt! It may be one year since Trayvon, 17, was tragically shot and killed by George, who was on neighborhood watch in Sanford, Fla. suburb, but he is clearly not forgotten.
Trayvon was walking home on the night of Feb. 26 2012, when he was shot at close range by George, who claimed that Trayvon was acting suspicious. He is yet to stand trial.
Other Stars Show Their Support For Trayvon Martin
Jamie is not the only star to show his support for Trayvon through clothing.
Chris Brown once wore a hoodie in honor of Trayvon, and pop singer Joe Jonas attended a protest for Trayvon in New York right after his death.
President Barack Obama spoke touching words about Trayvon, and said that he would look like his son.
"If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon," said the president.
