Tiger Woods got a scare on Apr. 13 after he found out that an illegally dropped ball cost him two strokes and nearly disqualified him from The Masters. But now that that’s died down, it looks like he has an ex-husband to deal with!
Thomas Vonn Disses Tiger Woods’ Masters Penalty
Thomas Vonn, who was married to Tiger’s now girlfriend Lindsey Vonn for six years, seemed to enjoy having a little fun at Tiger’s expense. The golfer’s two-stroke penalty, which was retroactively assessed after a fan called in and pointed out that he illegally dropped his ball on the course, was all he needed to get revenge on the man who stole his wife.
“No problem Master tournament happy to call in and help,” Thomas wrote on his Facebook page, implying that he was the fan who outed Tiger’s mistake! “You always have to keep an eye on those cheaters ;),” he added.
Thomas could actually be very angry that Tiger and Lindsey have gotten together, or he might just be a witty guy taking advantage of a funny opportunity. Either way, this diss is hilarious!
Thomas Vonn’s Diss: Will Tiger Woods Fire Back?
We doubt Tiger will respond any time soon — he’s got much bigger things on his mind, such as winning The Masters. Even after incurring the two-stroke penalty, Tiger finds himself just four strokes behind the leader going into the final day of the tournament.
