The Duchess of Cambridge and the queen of reality TV both dressed their baby bumps in empire waist dresses, but they had completely different looks! Whose style do YOU think is best?
Kim Kardashian has been experimenting with her pregnancy style, and one of her go-to trends has been empire waist dresses. While out with boyfriend Kanye West on April 24, the mom-to-be showed off her pregnant curves in a black see-through dress that cinched at her waist and flared out over her baby bump.
Kim Kardashian’s Black See-Through Dress
Even though Kim suffered a wardrobe malfunction when she turned around — her dress was see-through in the back and revealed a black thong — the rest of her look was super sexy, and showed off her growing bust and toned legs. Kim paired the dress with edgy black cage heels and a black clutch.
Kate Middleton’s ’50s-Style Blue Dress
Kate Middleton’s blue Emilia Wickstead cocktail dress was a little more classic and dressed down. She kept her baby bump covered in the empire waist dress, but her pregnant belly was especially noticeable when she turned to the side. She paired the elegant frock with a pair of grey suede pumps, accentuating her toned legs.
The neckline was also high enough to cover up her chest, but plunged in the back to reveal just enough skin. Her modest hemline also hit perfectly above the knee, which revealed her sexy stems.
While Kim has been showing off her baby bump in skintight dresses, Kate has just started revealing her baby bump in fashionable frocks — she had previously been hiding them under wool coats — and we think she looks amazing!
