The songstress was a golden girl on the red carpet for the 2013 ACM Awards — did you like her look as much as we did?

Taylor Swift stole the spotlight when she walked the red carpet at the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Apr. 7, where the star opted for an embellished gold dress by Dolce & Gabbana for the occasion.

Taylor Swift ACM Awards Dress:

The 23-year-old songstress, who is set to perform at the show, kept the focus on the sleeveless gown, pulling her hair back in a straight and sleek ponytail. Taylor paired the frock with Jimmy Choo shoes, Norman Silverman earrings and a Le Vian ring.

While the neckline of the embellished gown was rather demure, it was balanced out when Taylor turned around to reveal a cutout in the back. I love how Taylor wore her hair up to allow this sexy detail to shine. A dramatic, kohl-lined cat eye and a nude lip completed her red carpet look.

Back in 2012 I would’ve bet that Taylor would wear a gold dress for every appearance, however in 2013 she has really switched up her style, showing off a slew of sexy looks. For that reason I actually enjoyed seeing the star step out in this golden ensemble.

What do you think? Did you like Taylor’s gold dress or do you wish she wore something sexier for the ACM Awards? VOTE!
