Now that the season is over, ‘American Idol’ is on the hunt for a new set of judges. ‘Idol’ alum Adam Lambert tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that if he was offered a judging gig on the show, he’d definitely take it!
Now that Randy Jackson and Nicki Minaj are officially out, American Idol producers must find new judges to fill their spots for next season. Adam Lambert, who was runner-up on season eight of Idol, tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that he’d definitely be up for the challenge if producers offer him a spot as a judge!
Adam Lambert: Judging ‘American Idol’ Would Be ‘Such A Reward’
If offered a spot as a judge, Adam tells us he wouldn’t even hesitate:
Dude if they called me, "I'd be like yeah. Where do I sign?" It would be very cool. It would be exciting. It would be a really cool opportunity to help people coming into the show and to help them keep their vision focused because it does become overwhelming when you get in there and there's so many people telling you what they think you should do and your family, the producer, the judges, and all the other contestants that might be screwing with your head. I think it might be nice as a judge to help people stay focused. It gets crazy and to help them reach their dreams — it would be such a reward.
Fox plans to give the 13th season of the show a major makeover, and there first order of business is signing on Idol alum Jennifer Hudson as a judge, E! News reports.
“It's Idol alums bringing in the next generation,” a source at Fox tells E! News.
Could Adam be the producers’ next target as a judge for the new era of Idol?
