A shocking elimination left everyone in tears on the May 9 episode of ‘American Idol.’ Are you happy with the top two?

After the top three girls — Angie Miller, Candice Glover and Kree Harrison — sang their hearts out on the May 8 episode, one talented girl was voted off the show on May 9. Do you agree with the results, HollywoodLifers?

‘American Idol’ — Shocking Elimination

First the girls sang Selena Gomez's "Who Says" with a minor technical difficulty in the beginning.

The girls wanted to give back so they went to sing with the LACHA Jazz Choir.

We watched some highlights from last night before mentor Jimmy Iovine weighed in.

“In the beginning of the show, they all felt a little nervous.” Jimmy said Angie not playing the piano for “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word” was a big mistake. Instead of having a big moment, she got a 9/10.

Then season 10′s Lauren Alaina sang her new single “Barefoot and Buckwild.”

Jimmy continued to critique the second round, saying Kree was the clear winner because of her emotional home visit.

We saw a sneak peek of Mariah’s new song “Beautiful.” She looks amazing in the video! I can’t believe she’s 43.

Then Alicia Keys performed live.

For the third round, Jimmy said Angie did well but not spectacular. Jimmy said Candice “had that moment” during her performance of “Somewhere.”

The Results Are In

After the nationwide vote, Angie was eliminated.

I was shocked! I thought Kree was headed home.

Who should be in the finale, HollywoodLifers? Tell us below.
