Farrah, 21, revealed EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com exactly how she plans to tell her daughter Sophia and when, and she tells us she is much more worried about telling Sophia about her father and why he is not in her life. Farrah Abraham Is More Afraid To Tell Sophia About Her Father
Farrah spoke to HollywoodLife.com and she told us about how she is not worried about Sophia, 4, finding out about her sex tape, and that telling Sophia about her father Derek Underwood‘s death will be much harder than talking about her sexuality.
I separate me being single and me being a mother, it’s always been that way, and I do not joke around about that stuff. Sophia does not know what is going on, and no one in her sphere of life should be saying anything about my personal life to her.
But I do understand that when she is going through puberty and we are talking about sexuality and dating, of course I will be more than ready to talk about that kind of stuff. I’ve done Teen Mom, I’ve done 16&Pregnant, I talked about sex with people all the time. I think it'll be OK, there are more serious things to talk about in my life — like her father's death — than my sexuality.
Farrah is so mature and honest about the challenges she will face as a single mom, and she says that when Sophia is set to enter her teenage years, she will tell her about her personal video.
Farrah: How She Will Tell Sophia About Her Sex Tape
I’ll tell her when she is around 13 [years old] and the periods start! We are just gonna sit down and have this talk so she can process her own way to ask me questions and make her own choices, and I think that will let her make way better choices than I have.
Farrah has clearly thought about this a lot, and she only wants what is best for her daughter. While she may have suffered harsh criticism for releasing the sex tape at all, Farrah has taken full control and responsibility for her actions.
